Editorial Policy
This page explains how ArogyaJivan plans, creates, reviews, labels, and updates medical content so readers can trust what they read.
1. Our Mission
We publish patient-friendly, evidence-based information about treatments, doctors, hospitals, costs, and travel logistics for medical care in India. Our goal is to help people make informed decisions and navigate care safely.

3. Sourcing and Citations
- We rely on primary or authoritative sources: clinical guidelines, peer-reviewed journals, government/registry data, hospital protocols, and expert consensus statements.
- Every medical claim is supported by citations or clearly marked as expert opinion or general information.
- Statistics and cost figures carry dates or ranges; when figures vary, we show typical ranges and note drivers of variation.
- We link out to sources so readers can verify context. Broken links are fixed during routine updates.
4. Content Creation Workflow
- Pitch: Define reader need, search intent, and scope. List target sources.
- Draft: Write neutral, plain-language copy with citations and clear disclaimers.
- Fact-check: Verify claims against source documents; remove unsupported statements.
- Medical review: Qualified specialist reviews for clinical accuracy and context (see Medical Review Policy).
- Copy edit: Improve readability, tone, and accessibility; ensure inclusive language.
- Publish: Add metadata, schema, and labels; schedule update cadence.
5. Page Labels and Badges
Where applicable, pages display bylines, reviewer names, and dates. We use the following labels:
- Written by author/editor name.
- Medically reviewed by reviewer name, specialty, and review date.
- Update checked non-medical edits (formatting/links) with date.
- Specialty review pending used when a topic needs review outside the reviewer’s specialty.
Details on reviewer scope and when review is required are in our Medical Review Policy.
6. Independence, Conflicts, and Funding
- Editors and clinicians work independently of commercial teams.
- Sponsorships, partnerships, or affiliate relationships are disclosed on relevant pages.
- We do not accept payment in exchange for favorable coverage of providers or treatments.
- Content choices are guided by reader benefit, not advertiser preference.
7. Corrections and Updates
We monitor pages for medical changes and reader feedback. Substantive errors are corrected promptly with a visible note at the top or bottom of the page describing what changed and when. Routine non-medical fixes (formatting, links) are marked as “Update checkedâ€.
- High-impact topics: reviewed at least every 6 months or sooner if major guideline changes occur.
- Standard topics: reviewed at least annually.
8. Readability and Accessibility
- Use plain language, short sentences, descriptive headings, and helpful summaries.
- Provide alt text for key images, ARIA labels where needed, and keyboard-friendly interactions.
- Avoid stigmatizing terms; prefer people-first, inclusive language.
9. Use of AI Tools
We may use AI for brainstorming, outline support, or grammar assistance. We do not publish content without human authorship, editorial review, and (where applicable) medical review. We do not allow AI tools to invent citations or fabricate clinical claims. Drafts are screened for originality and factual accuracy.
10. Privacy and Patient Information
We do not publish patient-identifiable information without explicit consent. Case examples are generalized or anonymized. See our Privacy Policy for how we collect and use data.
11. Feedback and Complaints
If you spot an error or outdated statistic, write to support@arogyajivan.com with the page URL and the exact line. We log all reports, triage within 3 business days, and publish corrections as needed.
